Tips & tricks
Place the pepperoni in one even layer, not too tightly. This gives the pizza better balance between cheese, sauce and spiced topping.
Did you know?
Pepperoni gives pizza spiced fat and salty flavor that melts into the cheese during baking. A tomato sauce that has simmered down handles the bold topping better and makes the base less wet. High heat gives a crisp edge and helps the pepperoni become lightly cooked around the edges.
