Instructions

Cook the pasta in plenty of well salted water until al dente.

Save some of the pasta water before draining the rest.

Add butter and roasted garlic to a frying pan over medium heat.

Mash the garlic well into the butter with a fork or spoon.

Add cream and stir into a smooth sauce.

Fold in the pasta and add a little pasta water until the sauce coats the pasta well.

Fold in the shrimp at the very end and warm them gently in the sauce.

Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice before serving.

Tips & tricks

Fold in the shrimp at the very end. If heated too long in the sauce, they can quickly become tough and lose their juicy texture.
