Instructions
Cook fettuccine in plenty of salted water until al dente.
Save some of the pasta water before draining.
Finely chop the garlic.
Melt butter in a frying pan over low heat.
Add garlic and cook gently for a couple of minutes without browning.
Add cream and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
Stir in grated Parmesan.
Fold in the pasta.
Loosen with a little pasta water if the sauce becomes too thick.
Season with freshly ground pepper and serve with a little extra Parmesan.
