Instructions
Add rice and water to a thick bottomed saucepan.
Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add milk little by little while stirring.
Let the porridge simmer over low heat until thick enough and the rice is tender.
Stir regularly so the porridge does not stick to the bottom.
Season with salt.
Serve the rice porridge warm, preferably with butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Tips & tricks
Use a heavy based saucepan and stir regularly near the end. This gives more even porridge and less risk of sticking at the bottom.
