Instructions

Whisk together eggs, whole milk, sugar, cardamom and cinnamon in a wide bowl.

Place the bread slices in the mixture.

Let the bread soak until the slices are well moistened but still hold their shape.

Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the bread slices until golden on both sides and heated through.

Serve the Norwegian French toast right away.
