Instructions

Heat butter in a large frying pan or pot.

Add the shaved moose meat and brown over high heat for about 2 minutes.

Clean the mushrooms and onion, and cut them into strips.

Add mushrooms and onion to the pot with the meat. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Pour in the stock and let the stew simmer for about 20 minutes.

Stir in sour cream and let the stew heat through again without boiling hard.

Season with salt and pepper before serving.
