Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, grated garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar and chili flakes into a marinade.
Place the flank steak in a bag or dish and pour the marinade over it.
Let the meat marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
Remove the meat from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
Grill the flank steak quickly over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Let the meat rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cut the flank steak into thin slices against the grain.
Serve with rice, noodle salad, grilled corn or another side dish.
