Tips & tricks

Avoid including much white pith from the orange. The pith can give a bitter taste, especially when the liqueur infuses for several weeks.

Did you know?

Easter liqueur with orange and vanilla gets the best flavor when citrus peel and spices infuse in vodka for a long time. Orange peel gives aromatic oils, vanilla adds rounded sweetness and cardamom brings warm spice notes. Long infusion makes the flavor more cohesive and less sharp.
