Whisk well until completely smooth.
Add the chia seeds while whisking so they distribute evenly.
Let the mixture sit on the counter for 10 minutes.
Stir thoroughly once more to prevent lumps.
Cover the bowl or divide the mixture into serving glasses.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until the pudding has a thick and creamy consistency.
Coarsely chop the hazelnuts.
Top the chia pudding with hazelnuts just before serving.
