Whole Wheat Rolls with Oats

Instructions

Stir fresh yeast into lukewarm water.

Add olive oil and sugar, and let the mixture stand for 10 minutes.

Add wheat flour, coarse whole wheat flour, oats, salt and sunflower seeds.

Knead the dough for 5 to 10 minutes, by hand or in a stand mixer, until smooth.

Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour, until it has increased well in size.

Divide the dough into 18 equal pieces and roll them into buns.

Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush with water and sprinkle or roll the buns in sunflower seeds if you want extra topping.

Let the rolls proof for 30 minutes.

Heat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.

Bake the rolls in the middle of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

Cool on a wire rack before serving.
