Instructions

Stir fresh yeast into lukewarm water.

Add olive oil, flour, salt and sugar.

Knead the dough well until smooth.

Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about 30 minutes, until clearly increased in size.

Grease a baking dish or roasting pan with olive oil.

Transfer the dough to the pan and spread it evenly.

Let the dough proof for 30 minutes.

Heat the oven to 200 degrees.

Make small dimples in the dough with your fingers.

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with flaked salt.

Bake the focaccia in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

Cool slightly before serving.

Tips & tricks
