Instructions

Cut the sourdough baguette into thin slices.

Spread the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Drizzle with olive oil.

Bake at 180 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until crisp and golden.

Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and finely chop the shallot.

Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.

Cook mushrooms and shallot for about 5 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft and lightly golden.

Add cream, sour cream and truffle oil.

Stir well and let the cream simmer for a couple of minutes.

Cool the truffle cream until it thickens slightly.

Top the crostini with truffle cream just before serving.
