Instructions
Heat the oven to 175 degrees. Line a 1.5 liter loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it well.
Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
Add melted and cooled butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Stir well.
Add the eggs and mix to an even batter.
Sift together flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the batter.
Roughly chop the dark chocolate and walnuts, and fold them in at the end.
Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
Bake the banana bread in the middle of the oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes before lifting it out and cooling completely on a wire rack.
