Cut away the toughest green part of the leeks.
Wash the leeks well, especially between the layers.
Split the leeks lengthwise and then cut into shorter pieces.
Place the leeks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the middle of the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes, until tender and lightly golden.
