Instructions

Rinse the apples and remove the cores.

Cut the apples into pieces and place them in a saucepan.

Add water and cinnamon sticks.

Bring to a boil and let the apples simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, until completely tender.

Remove the cinnamon sticks.

Add sugar and stir well.

Blend the applesauce smooth with an immersion blender or food processor if you want a smoother texture.

Cool the applesauce, or serve it warm.
